COREY LEE – PROJECT MANAGER

Project Manager Corey Lee is committed to enhancing productivity and organization in the ECI office. He says, “I’ll focus daily on promoting greater communication between staff members.” His duties also include maintaining relationships with existing vendors, while cultivating new relationships with future trade partners and ECI’s growing client base.

Corey’s diverse skill set is rooted in his studies at from Vatterott College in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri, where he earned an associate degree in Industrial Electronics and Programable Logic Controllers. His next step was the role of electronics technician building tower cranes for J.E. Dunn Construction. He then joined the U.S. Army as an Infantryman, with two combat tours in Afghanistan and six years active duty.

Corey served one year with the reserves as a Geo Spatial Engineer and cartography specialist working with space and missile defense. While stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, he was married and welcomed son Preston to his new family. Corey retired from active duty as an Infantry Squad Leader with the rank of Sergeant.

In 2014 Corey and family moved to Bluffton to be closer to Preston’s grandparents. He then returned to college for a second associate degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Technical Management and later a bachelor’s degree in Project Management. Most recently he was the project manager for a lowcountry marine construction company and a fiber optics technician for Hargray telecommunications (Hilton Head Island).

When he’s not steering ECI projects, Corey enjoys skateboarding, biking, swimming, camping and fishing with young Preston. Among his favorite childhood memories are his earlier years as a Boy Scout in the Lake of the Ozarks. He’s proud to have received his Eagle Scout award in 2004.
