MIKE ZOOK – SITE SUPERINTENDENT

Site Superintendent Mike Zook brings a diverse skill set to our table, ranging from client service and blueprint implementation to advanced finished carpentry including furniture design and fabrication. His impeccable craftsmanship stems from thirteen years as Production Manager and Co-Owner of Wood Creations, Inc. in Okatie.
Mike launched his career as master carpenter at the Disney Vacation Club on Hilton Head Island, where he was Head Carpenter. During his time at Disney, Mike worked on renovations to the merchandise shop, guest service center, among other assignments.

In his current role as Site Superintendent for ECI, Mike is our onsite representative. His priorities are daily project supervision, scheduling of trades, material ordering, expediting and consistent quality control at all job sites. He says his many years as a business owner guide his successful decisions and while he’s committed to traditional techniques, Mike admits “I’m always looking for ways to embrace technology and new products.” He hails from a long line of talented tradesmen and arrived on Hilton Head Island by way of West Virginia. He’s a graduate of Hilton Head High School and later studied at Midlands Tech and the University of South Carolina.

Mike met his wife Kristine while working at Disney. Happily married for 21 years, the couple has one son, Jacob, who will return to Clemson this fall as a sophomore. The fourth family member is Winston, a mixed breed rescue dog. Mike’s pastimes include outdoor activities and as you may have guessed, woodworking!
